Answer to your question at the end: I would communicate my vision to my fellow people, be motivated to work toward that vision myself to set an example, speak to them to eliminate any reason why they believe they "cannot do it", be structural, knowing that in order to get to the goal we would have to build the wall brick by brick (its no the first or last step in the journey that is most important, it is the next" and finally I would use the freedom approach, allowing them to do the same thing that I do in order to achieve the goal envisioned.

  4. I try to be a good leader to my students by being a friendly and good person. I inspire and motivate them and try to make them feel excited about learning in general and learning English in particular.

One thing I have done to be a better leader is develop a vision for the group of staff I am responsible for leading. It is part of a annual work plan I put together that ties into our company's mission.

    I've tried to certain methods mentioned here. I need to do more of the first one.
    Structured. If not.. I will run into the problems I have ran into within the last 6 years we have been running.

  7. Transformational seems to be most effective in today's world…..but I would like to know if anyone could kindly recommend a book or books to further explain what Mr. Tracy has taught here.

  8. I've been leading a 5 member team for 4 years and this is my first experience. Thanks to you, this video has shown me where exactly I am. I realize I've been using all of the methods from time to time with different people. This is the good part. Bad part is, I feel like I'm experiencing the consequence of servant leadership you've mentioned with one member. Could you give me any suggestions how to set authority without damaging our relationship? I hope it's not a lot to ask.
