Over 1k Job Offers For Iit Delhi In Phase One, HR News, ETHRWorld

NEW DELHI: IIT Delhi students have received around 1,050 job offers, including pre-placement offers, with nearly 1,000 students being selected after the conclusion of Phase-I of the placement season for the academic year 2023–24.

Over 50 international offers were received by students from around 20 organisations across geographies spanning Hong Kong, Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Top recruiters on the campus in terms of the number of students offered jobs include Air India, Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Goldman Sachs, Bajaj Auto, and Ola Electric.

Students have been mostly placed in their core sectors.

The second phase of placements will start in mid-January. The placement season spans from December to May for full-time hiring of the institute’s undergraduate and postgraduate students.

As of now, more than 370 firms offering 700-plus job profiles have registered to hire IIT Delhi students. Of these, processes have been completed for over 450 job profiles, said Dr Anishya O Madan, industrial liaison officer, office of career services.
