Conscious Leadership – Day 2

By | Editor

We had some great thought leaders addressing us :

  1. Bawa Jain – Center for Responsible Leadership
  2. Arun Wakhlu – Pragati Leadership
  3. Mia Aittola– Invitation to Envisioning
  4. Anil Sachev – SOIL
  5. Indu Agarwal – Mindfulness

Here are some key highlights / take aways from their sessions:

  • There is a vacuum of Responsible Leadership in the world. How much do we listen to each other? We have lost the notion of civility.
  • What is Responsible Leadership ?Ask these 3 questions:

                    I.       Do you make decisions based on the Present or on the Future

II.       Do you make deisions based on Conviction or Imagination

III.       Do you make decisions that is Constructive or Destructive

  • EGO is the single biggest challenge. There is a quest for Power. When is it enough? We need People/Leaders with raised awareness.
  • Trust is eroded today.
  • We need to learn to work with people whom we disagree. We can agree to disagree but don’t have to kill each other
  • We are living in a polarised world. Can we build a new world together.
  • Yoga asks you to examine very deeply
  1. Who am I?
  2. Where am I?
  3. Why am I here?
  •  the whole of the yoga practice is for being able to answer these three questions with great deep clarity.
  • there are two other questions that yoga asks you
  1.  In doing what I’m doing, what am I really doing?
  2. Am I being dharmic?
  • There is a possibility of opening myself up to the energy of the consciousness and becoming transparent. The more transparent I am, the more honestly I will look at myself and ask myself, what am I really doing?
  • We run our life based on being in this little bubble of the ego.
  • Life is already programmed for conscious living and conscious leadership
  • The keys to our questions are inside, but we look for the answers outside
  • The antidote is simply to learn to live more and more in the present? Can I learn to be conscious and mindful of being in the now
  • As leaders if we awaken to the power of love,
