Human resource management, often shortened to HR or HRM, is the practice of recruiting, hiring, deploying, and managing an organization’s employees. It’s essentially a bridge between a company and its employees.
HRM follows four objectives: societal, organizational, functional, and personal objectives. Each objective focuses on a different area of employee management and development, and contribute to a wholesome management system. HR software is also used in HRM, providing services like payroll, administration, and employee records services.
