Demand for white-collar gig roles increases in March, shows foundit jobs report

The demand for gig workers in white-collar jobs in India increased by 11% YoY in March. The white-collar job posting activity also showed a rise of just 2% YoY in March, whereas it declined 1% month-on-month. Industries such as retail, travel, and tourism exhibited a yearly increase in hiring demand, whereas import and export had a 12-13% dip and IT, telecoms, and manufacturing had a 3-4% decline month-on-month
