Developers to ramp up hiring by over 50%

Hiring in the real estate sector is likely to increase by 55-60% year on year this calendar year as developers are expected to launch more projects on the back of good sales, industry insiders said.

Developers such as Godrej PropertiesK Raheja GroupDLF, Tatas and Mahindra have indicated a spike in their hiring activity. Many others are also expanding team ahead of the festive season, insiders said.

“We are focusing on talent development by building in-house capabilities as well as through campus recruitment, reaching out to diverse talent groups, partnerships with hiring consultants, and enhancing focus on flexible work models like work from home and hybrid work,” said Megha Goel, chief human resources officer (CHRO) at Godrej Properties Ltd.
