I’ve been keeping a secret from all of you for the last 4 months. Let me tell you, it’s been hard! But FINALLY, I can spill the beans.
It Started Last October…
I was at LinkedIn’s Talent Connect giving a speech. After the session, a woman named Susan Williams approached me and explained she worked for Lynda.com, the newest member of the LinkedIn family. She wanted to talk to me about designing a free course for the site. We scheduled a call to discuss possible topics. I knew immediately what I wanted to do (I was thinking of all of you!), and started to build the case to convince Susan to go with it. Luckily, she agreed.

After working with Susan and her team to finalize the course material, the next step was to have the video production team come to film it. Josh and Josh (yes, they both had the same name!), spent a day and a half with me. We had a lot of fun filming. They left and said they’d be in touch. That was in December. Susan explained it would take awhile for them to put the course together. She asked me to sit tight and not say a word. It was very hard to do. I was so excited about what we were working on. Keeping this a secret from all of you was tough.
Now, the wait is finally over!
