💡 218 job types out of 5,400 have the potential to become global digital jobs that can be performed remotely from anywhere.
📈 In 2024 there are 73 million global digital jobs, they are expected to grow to 92 million by 2030.
☝️ New global digital jobs represent over half of the total growth in the global digital workforce, increasing it by 15 million. Most of this growth comes from relatively high-wage jobs (eight million) such as telecommunications managers and financial managers, while medium-wage jobs such as editors, writers and authors contribute seven million.
🔥 Higher-income roles will predominate as technology development drives digital jobs of the future with high and mid-level wages, according to a new interesting research published by World Economic Forum in collaboration with Capgemini entitled “The Rise of Global Digital Jobs” using data 📊 from Pearson’s Faethm skills intelligence solution and using US Bureau of Labor Statistics data.
