Being unorganised will give you greater flexibility during unpredictable times

If everything is designed to even for a minute and what you should do at a particular moment, it only adds more pressure in our mind with a fear of failure of adhering to the schedule

Prioritizing the daily schedule differs from person to person. Googling on how to rest or plan our daily schedule well, or downloading an App from the play store to monitor our health, assuming that it takes care of our health automatically doesn’t work. The items in the schedule list might be similar, but arranging them in the manner in which they shall suit our convenience is more important because we should pass through the programme. It is better to have less planned as it gives much more flexibility to adapt to the situation with ease. If everything is designed to even for a minute and what you should do at a particular moment, it only adds more pressure in our mind with a fear of failure of adhering to the schedule.

Only you can determine what you want

We need not either follow the list of someone else or the order in which they are listed. Even the duration of each activity, too. Let it be open. The first thing that we should do is to list all the activities that we would like to perform daily, weekly basis, fortnightly basis, etc. Always keep room for unpredictability. Some of the activities could be watching OTT for a show/movie, reading an article, listening to songs, writing an email or sending a WhatsApp message to the intended people, calling someone to discuss an outstanding matter for a resolution, walking, workouts, yoga, periodical consultations with a physician, to name a few, or otherwise i.e., being on mute completely to control our angst. Only our mind, body and spirit tell us what our urges and their priorities are.

Pint-size adjustments make a big difference

No one can become an expert on anything overnight. It is only a matter of time before someone becomes an expert provided an attempt is being made to become so. During uncertain times like the one we live in, the Covid-19 pandemic, we are expected to do multiple things both at domestic and workplace. One cannot be indifferent to the situation claiming that he/she had not done it in the past and hence don’t do it now and/or don’t know how to do it. Take up the reigns, jump into it and swim slowly to be getting on track. It is not helpful if you do not start working on little things changing the lifestyle as it demands you to behave. One cannot experiment with swimming in the opposite direction, assuming wrongly that he/she wants to walk the path where no one does previously. That’s a different matter. So, all-or-nothing thinking doesn’t work. Reconciling with the situation we live in is the need of the hour, instead of considering ourselves as innovators. It only devastates further if we do so.
