CEO tells employees to ‘go somewhere else’ if they want to work from home – and they did just that

• Many employees were hired remotely and were asked to move to a city with a company office

• The employees took the suggestion seriously and there was a flurry of resignations within a month

The pandemic has taught us that is possible to not be physically present at the office if you just have to sit in front of the computer all day. While many companies have embraced the work from home model, others are eager to switch back to working from office as soon as possible.

When a CEO told his employees to “go work somewhere else” if they wanted to work from home, they simply quit. 

An employee at the unnamed food delivery app took to Reddit to explain that the staff was not comfortable returning to the office amid the pandemic.
