BENGALURU: Business services firm Quess Corp is planning to use its technology platforms to link migrant workers with factories and organisations, ensuring their organised return to work amid a labour shortage in cities.

Quess is among India’s largest private sector employers with over 3.8 lakh people on its rolls, who are deployed across e-commerce, facility management, healthcare, retail, IT services and other industry sectors.

The company said it was hopeful of an employment revival in some sectors such as retail and e-commerce.

“We are hoping that the government will actually help us get migrant workers back into the city in an organised fashion. We are in conversations with some folks in government to see how we can also help create that supply-demand linkage with some of our technology platforms,” Suraj Moraje, group chief executive officer of Quess told ET.
