Gone are the days when retirement brought out memories of reading papers and walking in the park. Today, there are many people above 60 who are active, are working and even have the best professional time of their lives.

Stanford Center for Longevity had sometime back released a map of a 100-year-life. This highlighted two things. Many of us living today may live longer than what our previous generations had done. Second, as we lead these longer lives, our education and career pathways may not be linear and timebound. Which means we could explore multiple options to learn and to work over this time period, calling to question the standard model of working till retirement age.
