I am very honored to announce Sanyin Siang is the winner of the Thinkers50 Marshall Goldsmith Distinguished Achievement Award in Coaching and Mentoring.

Every two years, Thinkers50, the world’s most reliable resource for identifying, ranking, and sharing the leading management ideas of our age, salutes our work with its ranking of management thinkers and awards for distinguished achievement in a number of specific management categories.
This year Thinkers50 created a new category for coaching, Sanyin was one of seven outstanding nominees shortlisted for this award. The other nominees were Carol Kauffman, Tom Kolditz, Magdalena Mook, Jonathan Passmore, Michael Bungay Stanier, Gabriela Teasdale, Mark C. Thompson. 
Sanyin is the founding executive director of the Coach K Leadership and Ethics Center at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. The center is a leadership laboratory with programming for all of Duke’s Daytime MBA students and convenes think tank gatherings across sectors to explore today’s complex leadership challenges.
She is a leadership coach, working with CEOs and generals.  She an advisor for Google Ventures and Duke Corporate Education.  Her thought-leadership has appeared in in Forbes, Fortune, The Wall Street Journal, The Huffington Post, and World Economic Forum Platform. She is also a LinkedIn Influencer with more than 700,000 followers.  She has spoken at different gatherings from The White House to The Global Sports Owners & Management Summits, to Generation W.  She is a Sr. Advisor with Dan Ariely’s Center for Advanced Hindsight and a faculty for Duke StoryLab.  She is also an alumnus of the 86th Joint Civilian Orientation Conference, the US Department of Defense’s oldest and most prestigious public liaison program.

Sanyin received a BSE in biomedical engineering and an MBA from Duke where she was an AB Duke Scholar.
