As Kathleen Bellehumeur says in Why I refuse to spend quality time with my kids

“I don’t spend quality time with my kids because there is no such thing. There is only time. And special moments emerge organically just by spending time.”

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but the number of moments that take our breath away.

Nobody can predict when these moments happen.

They can not be planned.

Many of us work hard to create a brighter future for our children. But, without a brighter today, there is no point in a brighter future.

“80 percent of success is just showing up.”

Woody Allen said this about work. But I think it is more applicable to home.

Life is a not a draft we can later edit. Let’s make the best out of every moment of it.
