Hiring fresh graduates from campus makes business sense as it gives a strong set of home grown leaders, says Madhu Srivastava, Group CHRO, Vedanta NSE 2.14 %. “It also protects us from the uncertainty around the availability of right talent in the market and is more economical compared to hiring laterally,” Srivastava tells ET’s Rica Bhattacharyya in an interview.
