1. Not try their best

High achievers do their best.

They don’t just give a half-assed effort to anything they do. They strive to be the best they can be at whatever they do.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a meeting or an interview, or a presentation or report, high achievers make sure they do the work properly and put in their best effort.

After all:

High achievers know that if you try your best, good things will happen.

Even if the results don’t turn out how you wanted, you will always be better for the experience.

The alternative is doing nothing and achieving nothing, which isn’t really a success at all. It’s just laziness.
