  1. What I've took from watching this video is that you can look up to the people that are head of you and somewhat monologue what they do but once you get to the same level that they are at you have to innovate yourself which means you have to come up with your own rules so you can be the role model and someone follows you which makes you a mentor just like at my job my manager is like my mentor but I know that I want to surpass her so to a certain level I have to change it up and switch it. I'm in school now I go to a for-profit school is Strayer University but I've heard good things about it and it hurt bad things because I work during the night and I attend classes online for my bachelor's degree in business. Now my mentor / manager wants me to go to the more traditional school but that's where the how can I say this where the gap of my identity and what works for me and would work for her but taking and learning in absorbing things from someone that's ahead of you like a sponge is priceless. Since my manager at my job has been my mentor and taught me things I have got nothing but great reviews on my work performance.

  2. Learn what works (aka model success). Don't worry about how you competitor is doing. Focus on your own progress and if you look after your customers they will look after you. End result, your business becomes a success.

  3. Evan, feel the passion coming in through the screen. It's infectious.
I'm definitely taking up the strategy of focusing the finite game (tried methods, healthy competition/rivalry) until maintained acceleration to focus on the infinite game (new methods, changing the world; making an impact). Of course, both will be at each stage but at different proportions, the infinite game gradually taking lead decision making priority I guess?

  4. Evan, thanks this video was useful for me . It helped me to decide I need to model other successful businesses that are in my industry. First I need to learn the ins and outs of what I need to learn and do to get a similar business model going, then I can incorporate my own personal passion into that business which will allow me to differentiate myself in the market and have fun and be happy . Exciting times.
