Imagine this scenario. I am facilitating my creative block busting for a major client. A business that I won with tremendous effort. This is the first workshop. A make or break workshop. All future work rested on the outcome of the session.
We had an excellent start. A motivating introduction by the client. The first creative exercise with playdo went off well. I saw beaming faces. People are blowing bubbles. A few are testing the lollipop.
10:00 am. I start my session my session on schedule. Overall energy levels are high. I am introducing the concept of creative block busting. Divergent and convergent thinking. I am watching the participants as I am speaking.
Then I notice the gentleman in the first table. He is fast asleep. His colleagues too notice it. I continue as planned till we come the first break at 11:15 am. I announce the break and approach the sleeping gentleman. As I am approaching him many participants who were about leave the room stay back. Curious to see what I was going to do.
I go close and gently tap the gentleman on his shoulder. It takes a few minutes before wakes up. He seems confused and quickly realises where he is. I draw a chair and sit next to him.
