New Delhi: The Class of 2024 at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s SP Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) has received an average salary package of Rs 33 lakh per annum, the same as the previous batch, the institute said.

The median salary of the students of post graduate diploma in management (PGDM) and PGDM (Business Management) is also similar to last year at Rs 31.2 lakh per annum.

More than 70% of the PGDM and PGDM (BM) batch bagged offers of above Rs 30 lakh and over 90% in excess of Rs 25 lakh, according to a news release from the institute.

“In light of the global slowdown and associated impact on campus placements, SPJIMR has received strong support from industry partners and alumni of the school to complete 100% placements of all students,” the statement said.

Consulting emerged as the top recruiting sector, with 35% of the batch receiving offers from companies such as Accenture Strategy, Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte, GEP Worldwide, Kearney, KPMG, Praxis Global Alliance and PwC US Advisory. This year SPJIMR also received international offers from Deloitte, according to the institute.

The FMCG industry recruited 25% of the batch.

In addition to the regular companies, SPJIMR had 33 first-time recruiters visiting the campus this time.
