A Switzerland-based Fortune 500 company Adecco Group is providing a unique opportunity to students and those in the early stage of careers. They can apply to become its‘CEO for One Month.’
The company is hiring a young chief executive — offering a salary of ₹1.6 lakh. But that is not all. The candidate will be provided travel allowances, accommodation and other relevant benefits. Later on, the selected ‘CEO’ can continue to work with the company or join client organizations in permanent roles.
“The program is designed to be extremely hands-on where they will be provided an opportunity to drive strategic business initiatives, special projects, business operations, and plan market strategies and I will mentor and monitor very closely. At the end of the month, we will have basically walked the talk,” Marco Valsecchi, country manager and MD of The Adecco Group India told Business Insider in an e-mailed interview.
Over the last few years, candidates have come from both top tier and tier 2 universities.
The initiative is aimed at imparting ‘real-world’ training to the youth — to increase their confidence and exposure in the corporate world. It is open to candidates across 49 countries.
