To build high-performer team; your approach is at least as important team members’ skills. Because the leader shapes and defines team approach. The most important thing that all team members take a role model their leader naturally like in family, so my approach is always build a team like my family at home.

All employees generally spend most of time at work it depends on geography. If you build a team like family as I try to do; work life starts to become family life. When you think about “what is the best specials of my family?” I immediately remember three words trust-empathy-listen well.

Trust is the main factor of all relationships so building trust is main responsibility of leaders. Leader should teach how to trust and how to be trustable with his/her consistent behaviours. Leader should be transparent as much as possible, and he should be honest to them.

Empathy is kind of magic that if you start to empathise with team members, you learn how to behave them because you understand and know them very well, and you can do delegations and assignments very easily and efficiently.

Listen well and empathy is in the same harmony they are dependent things you can’t empathise with them without listening, can’t empathise without listening well them. Listen well looks like listen your child from your heart and all senses. Leader should listen for what do you feel and demand, what are the key motivations of her/him, what’s his/her target for her and how can you match up his target with your business strategy in future.
