Bengaluru: Cognizant’s chief financial officer Jatin Dalal, who resigned as Wipro CFO earlier this month, would be taking home $5.2 million as annual compensation and $300,000 as a sign-on bonus.

At Wipro, Dalal’s salary dropped from $1.5 million in the 2021-22 financial year to $1 million in the 2022-23 financial year. Dalal will enter into an executive employment and non-disclosure, non-competition and invention assignment agreement applicable to executive officers of the company, it said.

The compensation comprises a base salary of $750,000, annual cash incentive target of $750,000 performance-based stock units (PSUs) vesting over a three-year period subject to performance milestones and time-based restricted stock units (RSUs) with a grant value of $1.8 million each, a regulatory filing showed.

Cognizant has appointed Dalal as its new chief finance officer effective December.
