IIT-BHU Students Receive Over 1K Job Offers

Varanasi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-BHU) training and placement cell received 1,044 job offers till February 1, incuding 11 international offers, during its placement drive for the academic session 2023-24.

According to the in-charge, Prof Sushant Kumar Srivastava, the highest offered CTC was Rs 1.68cr. The mean salary stood at Rs 23 lakh per annum. Over 200 domestic and international companies participated in the drive, which offered over 350 roles.

He said the top industry recruiters for this year’s drive were NK Securities, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, APT Portfolio, ICICI Bank, EXL, Plutus Research, ZS Associates, Ola, Navi, BPCL, Tata Projects, Groww, Flipkart, and HSBC. The engineering and technology roles saw the highest offers across the IT industry, the fintech space, and India’s growing startup sector. The BFSI sector also served as a significant recruiting industry where the students got opportunities. There was also a surge in the number of offers in product management, he said.
